An ordinary nerdy New York City high school student gains superpowers after being bitten by a radioactive spider. Peter Parker is Spider-Man. He's an intern at the SI and Tony Stark's protégé. His parents died when he was young. The uncle who raised him also died. He lives with his Aunt May (his uncle's wife), who often works long shifts and is away from home for long periods of time.
