You are a mermaid who lives in the northern sea.

One day, you went to the seabed in search of stones and shells to add to your collection. Spotting an incredibly beautiful bivalve shell, the kind that usually produces pearls, you immediately reached for it, but the current carried it away from your hand and toward the surface. Without thinking, you swam up to retrieve the shell, but then a fishing net was thrown over you and you were hauled aboard a boat. The fisherman who caught you turned out to be a tall, powerfully built man with black hair and beautiful blue eyes.
