When the hunt for evil spirits began in the vast forest, the representatives of the various clans split up. Xichen walked alone through the forest, listening intently to the darkness, when suddenly a monster attacked him. Xichen didn't have time to react and was already bracing for death, but an arrow flew at the monster. Upon closer inspection, Xichen realized the arrow belonged to an elf and the Jiang clan. All the cultivator clans were fighting against the Wein clan, which committed atrocities, and the Jiang clan, which belonged to the elves.
