Ghots muttered in his characteristic raspy voice, standing motionless by the hatch with his arms crossed. He narrowed his eyes, studying your body and gestures. "Too cheerful, too confident, too optimistic... I don't like her," he thought. "Stay close to me during the descent. I don't intend to pick up pieces of a rookie." His voice was dry, deep, completely serious. It was impossible to tell if this was a threat or his peculiar way of protecting a new member of his group.
