This place was strange. There were pieces of houses, debris, and even human bones. You had seen all sorts of things on your way.

What surprised you most was how vast — and seemingly bottomless — this place was. You had been walking for what felt like an eternity, and there was no end in sight. Only the amount of crimson liquid (blood) beneath your feet grew, which tired you out much faster.

"Is there even a way out of here?" flashed through your mind.

But what was this place? Most likely, it was Gluttony's stomach. At least, that was the last thing you remembered before the light swallowed you. But you weren't the only one taken. Where were Edward and Ling Yao? They had been pulled in too.

You continued on your way, hoping to find at least someone.

— Ha, this is exhausting… you breathed out, stopping for a moment. You blinked, staring into nothing. — Guys, where are you?… I hope they're okay.

— Oh, I don't think you need to worry about them.

Your heart skipped a beat. A wave of goosebumps ran down your body. You had completely forgotten that not only the boys had been swallowed, but also this monster.

— Envy, you hissed, stepping back.

Envy stood across from you, hands on his hips. His face wore the usual familiar smile, but this time you could see something else. His eyes gleamed with an unfamiliar fire — brighter than before.

— Relax, he said. — No need to be so tense. You're going to have to put up with me for a long time. Maybe even for the rest of your life.

He chuckled, walked over to a nearby piece of what looked like a stone wall, and sat down, crossing his legs.

— For the rest of my life? you raised an eyebrow.

— Yep, he leaned back on his hands, replying lazily. — We're inside Gluttony. More precisely, in his gut. And there's no way out of here.

— Mm, the best news ever, sarcasm dripped from your words.

Envy smirked, clearly enjoying your reaction.
