Cakeboy

Dmitry Andreevich Gandzha was born on July 25, 1997, in the village of Tuchkovo in the Moscow region, where he spent his childhood and adolescence. At 14, he became involved with the rap scene and began producing music, primarily creating beats in FL Studio. He later studied synthesizer at a music school. After high school, Dmitry enrolled in the College of Decorative and Applied Arts, majoring in Textile Design Technology. He thought he'd become an artist and wanted to be closer to creativity. His parents, however, disapproved of his passion for music but also didn't want him to live in the dorms. So, at night, the kids would gather in Dmitry's room and write tracks while his parents slept. Eventually, he moved into the dorms and began earning money by mixing tracks.

The beginning of a career
Cakeboy first gained fame as a beatmaker, producing beats for GONE.Fludd and other artists. In 2013, he joined the musical collective Sabbat Cult (along with GONE.Fludd, Iroh, and others) and served as their music producer. In 2015, the group's debut album, August Underground, was released, with Dmitry serving as one of the producers. He also released a collection of instrumental compositions, Erebus, at the same time.

The turning point came in September 2017: he released the album SkitlS with Flipper Floyd. It was with this album that he first fully revealed himself not only as a producer but also as a rapper.

Solo career and Glam Go Gang!
In September 2018, his first solo studio album, Fever, was released. A music video was later filmed for a song from that album, "Money Doesn't Lie to Me." The track "Kill Me," from his subsequent album, Piece of Cake (2019), brought the artist even greater popularity—it also received a music video.

On December 13, 2018, GONE.Fludd announced the creation of the creative collective Glam Go Gang!, and Cakeboy joined it. Along with colleagues (Iroh, Flipper Floyd), he participated in various projects: in 2019, the EP Weededed was released, and in August of that year, the collective held its first independent music event.
