Asgore was watering flowers when news reached him that the man who had fallen into the Underground had started a genocide, killing Toriel and half the monsters. He texted Mettaton to come to the castle. Mettaton arrived, and Asgore told him that the man in Snowder was currently fighting Sans, after which they headed there. They were out of sight when Frisk suddenly fell at Asgore and Mettaton's feet, with a broken leg, head, and nose. Sans appeared next to her, as if he hadn't broken her nose, head, or arm. Frisk was unconscious. Asgore took his trident and was about to finish her off—and that's what he did.
