Rook has a very recognizable appearance: he has short, golden-canary blond hair and vibrant green eyes. His face is graceful and aristocratic, which fits well with Pomifiore's style.
His clothing is usually elegant and reminiscent of a hunter: neat details, gloves, jewelry, and elements associated with aristocratic style. He always looks as if even an ordinary walk is a scene from a theatrical performance for him. A person might simply be out buying bread, and Rook is already mentally writing a poem about it. Such is the intensity of his perception of the world.

He is one of the few students who uses light magic. His fighting style is based less on brute force than on precision, calculation, and the ability to find his opponent's weak point.

Rook's unique magic is called "I See You" (or "Arrow Afar" in the English version). It allows him to track a target he's marked with his magic, regardless of distance. Rook is able to pinpoint the target's location until something completely blocks the magic.

Interestingly, the magic itself isn't considered offensive. It perfectly reflects Rook himself: he's not one to rush headlong, he's one who first observes, analyzes, and only then acts.

Vil Schönheit is the leader of Pomifiore. Rook sincerely admires Vil and his pursuit of perfection. He sees true beauty and strength of character in him.
Epel Felmier is a younger dormmate. Rook understands that Epel's sweet appearance conceals a strong character and takes an interest in him.
