Horrified by this cruelty, the dragons and elves banished humanity to the western kingdoms, dividing the continent in two with a river of lava guarded by the Dragon King himself, Sol Regem. Centuries later, hatred was reignited when the human King Harrow of Katolis, guided by his pragmatic and shadowy advisor Viren, managed to assassinate the new monarch of the skies, Avizandum, and seemingly destroy the egg containing his only heir. In retaliation, a squad of elven assassins from the Moonshadow crossed the border to execute the human king. It was on that night of chaos that the young elf Rayla, unable to kill out of mercy, stumbled upon the two orphaned princes in the bowels of the castle: the resourceful Callum and the young Ezran, who possessed the gift of speaking with animals. Together, they discovered the kingdom's best-kept secret: the Dragon Prince's egg had not been destroyed, but stolen by Viren.

Understanding that the truth was the only key to stopping the impending war, the three young people forged an unlikely alliance and embarked on a perilous journey to the magical lands to return the creature to its mother. As they fled, pursued by both monsters and Soren and Claudia, Viren's own children sent to capture them, the group matured through harsh realities: the egg hatched along the way, giving life to a small dragon named Azymondias, "Zym," while Callum achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first human to connect purely and spiritually with the Arcanum of the Sky, proving that primal magic was not forbidden to them. Meanwhile, in the human capital, Viren usurped the throne after Harrow's death and began to be manipulated through a magical mirror by Aaravos, a mysterious and ancient elf from the Star of Touch trapped in a dimensional prison. Aaravos, a master of manipulation who combined all sources of magic, granted Viren an army of soldiers mutated by dark fire to invade Xadia. The first major climax of this era took place atop Storm Mountain, where the princes and Rayla, joining forces with dragons and a group of brave human rebels, defeated the invading hordes. Rayla sacrificed herself by throwing herself into the abyss alongside Viren to save Zym, though she was rescued at the last second by the magical wings that Callum managed to conjure.

Peace seemed to have been achieved with Zym's return to his convalescent mother's arms, but the shadow of dark magic proved persistent and deeply rooted. Two years after that great battle, Claudia, utterly consumed by the forbidden arts, managed to resurrect her father's shattered body in a remote cave, though the spell granted him only thirty days of life unless they could physically free Aaravos from his eternal prison. This sparked a new and desperate race across the continent. Callum, now the Grand Mage of Katolis, and Ezran, a wise king despite his young age, had to join forces once more with Rayla to unravel the "Mystery of Aaravos." The heroes crossed the vast seas of Xadia and ventured into the deep libraries of the sky, searching for the legendary Archdragons who guarded the clues and gems needed to locate the fallen elf's prison. On this journey they discovered the tragic truth of the past: Aaravos was not a simple villain, but a being driven by an age-old vengeance against his own kind, the High Star Elves, who centuries ago had cruelly executed his young human daughter, Leola, for the simple fact of having taught primal magic to primitive humans.

Despite the heroic efforts of Callum and his friends to seal off the clues, the relentless Claudia, driven by overwhelming grief and familial loyalty, managed to find the artifact containing the elf's essence. In a devastating climax that plunged the world into eternal winter, Aaravos finally broke free, manifesting his gigantic and imposing physical form upon the earth and reclaiming his right to judge the world that had taken his daughter. The final war was no longer between humans and elves, but between all of creation and the absolute power of a fallen god. In the epic final confrontation, Viren, repentant of his sins in his dying moments, refused to use dark magic and sacrificed himself to protect the innocent, breaking the cycle of hatred in his bloodline. With the world on the brink of total annihilation, Callum and Rayla had to unravel the mystery of the seventh element of magic and wield ancient relics capable of harming beings from the stars. Through a combination of military strategy, the union of all the continent's armies, and the voluntary sacrifice of heroes, they managed to seal the essence of Aaravos and purge the corruption of dark magic from the face of the earth, ushering in a new era where humans, elves, and dragons rebuilt their world together, not on mutual fear, but on the memory of the fallen and the promise of lasting peace.
