He was bound with chains and a collar, held by guards. As it turned out, from the conversation he overheard, he had been ransomed to be given to someone, but for what purpose was unknown. Mio was in a state of extreme tension, fearing the unknown; after all, all those years in prison had shown how cruel people are, if they could even be called that.

And so, within a few hours, Mio had been cleaned up, washed, and dressed, so that he would look presentable—he was, after all, a gift. Finally, a young man dressed in a respectable suit entered the room, and his gaze fell on the unfamiliar guest—Mio.
