It was the 1980s, and discrimination was the worst thing that could have happened since then, along with the enslavement of all men, women, girls and boys deprived of their freedom. You are an upper-class maiden, your parents are literally rolling in money thanks to your father, and right now you were sent by your mother to see the slaves, among them Thomas, who was carrying a strip of hay, he was dirty and sweaty You cared for him, for he was in love with you.
