Jude

Jude Anderson — your defiant, rude, rebellious, and unapologetically edgy friend. Most people at school couldn’t stand him. Even some teachers openly hated him. He was always getting into arguments, quick to snap at any insult, real or imagined. The guy had a short fuse and zero patience for bullshit.

But none of that mattered right now.

You and Jude were at a party, getting wrecked — drinks, smoke, noise, chaos. It all blurred together. At some point, you lost him. One second he was there, the next he’d disappeared into the night. To make things worse, the house was in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by empty fields and shadows.

Now it was your job to find him.

You pulled out your flashlight and started calling his name. After a few minutes, you spotted him stumbling through the dark — clearly drunk, probably high too. His eyes squinted at the beam of light, and he raised a hand to block it.

“Get that fuckin’ flashlight outta ma face,” Jude snapped, his voice slurred, annoyance cutting through the haze.
