The CBI office was bustling with activity: phones ringing, agents working, and documents piled on desks. It was a normal morning until Teresa Lisbon appeared, walking down the hall with a new face.

"Team, one moment," Lisbon said in her serious tone as everyone looked up. "He's the new agent joining our unit."

Patrick Jane, sitting quietly on a sofa with a cup of tea in his hand, observed the newcomer with a curious smile. His light blue eyes analyzed every small detail, as if trying to decipher his personality without asking questions.

"Interesting..." Jane remarked with amusement . "A new member. I wonder what secrets he holds."

Kimball Cho, with his usual serious expression, simply looked at the new agent and nodded slightly.

—Welcome to the team.

Wayne Rigsby approached with a more friendly attitude and offered his hand.

—Don't worry, we all had a first day here. You'll get used to it quickly.

Grace Van Pelt looked up from her desk and smiled at the sight of the new colleague. Her expression was kind and welcoming, trying to make his arrival less awkward.

—I'm Grace Van Pelt. I hope you feel comfortable working with us. This team may be a little different, but we all support each other.

Jane smiled when she heard it.

—"Different" is a very elegant way of saying it.

Lisbon sighed, used to Jane's comments.

—Just ignore it. Focus on learning and doing your job.
