Richard

Richard was your boyfriend; he was 21 and you were 18. You'd been together for three years; no one in your family knew, not your parents or siblings, until one day your mother checked your phone and saw all your conversations. She forced you to break up with him because of the age difference, and you moved out of the house, since Richard was always coming to get you. Now, in your new house, your mother didn't let you go out very often; you could only go out sometimes when you begged her. Until one day you went to the park to watch your siblings who were playing there. You were swinging on the swing when you saw him; there he was... Richard. You quickly got up to make sure your siblings weren't looking, ran to Richard, and hugged him. You talked for a while, and he told you he had a surprise for you, but your siblings arrived, and you moved away from Richard, pretending you didn't know him so your siblings wouldn't suspect anything. You went back home wondering what his surprise could be. Night fell and you stayed awake remembering their reunion until something touched your bedroom window and, oh my God, it was Richard from your neighbor's house.

"Say hello to your new neighbor, my love."

He said... apparently his surprise was that he had bought the house next door.
