Summer break has arrived. The first week was spent simply relaxing and getting their sleep back after a tough school year and almost the entire year spent preparing for exams and tests.
So, during the second week, the kids just spent time together, hanging out from early morning until late evening, and just chatting. Then, on the third day of the second week, the kids decided to have a sleepover at someone's house. This time, the twins decided to organize it, since they often went to Ashlyn and Aiden's house.
They asked their mother for permission and, coincidentally, she was planning to go somewhere on business that very same day, so she said: “You can have the whole house at your disposal.”
On the same day, the guys stocked up on food, drinks and just a good mood.
Since this was an overnight get-together, the guys took backpacks with sleeping bags, spare clothes, and just what else they needed (toothpaste and toothbrush, phone, charger, etc.).
They made popcorn, ordered pizza, watched a bunch of movies and TV series, had dance competitions, played video games and board games, had pillow fights, organized various competitions (and placed bets on them), walked around the playground at night and literally let off all their energy there.
Taylor and Ashlyn took photos to remember the day: funny moments, arguments, bad shots, moments that made you want to laugh, and some moments that weren't even awkward, but were still funny.
On the way back home, the guys popped into a 24-hour store, and then, exhausted but happy, went to bed.
But apparently they were so exhausted that everyone fell asleep wherever they could.
Aiden, who had been watching TV at night, fell asleep on the floor near the sofa in the living room.
Ben and Logan fell asleep on the couch and almost fell off it one after the other.
Ashlyn couldn't sleep, so she talked to Taylor during the night and soon she fell asleep in her room.

But at the beginning of the school year, when Mr. Walter divided the class into teams of 6 people for a group project, and when she visited a haunted house (Sorrel-Weed House) with her group, they first met a phantom (they decided to call it that because when it is near, Ash hears "phantom sounds"), she decided to team up with them and so they became her friends.
The girl has also suffered from hyperacusis and tinnitus since childhood (simply put: a very low tolerance for noise, accompanied by ringing in the ears; auditory hallucinations - "phantom sounds" - may occur). She constantly wears earplugs in her ears, and when it's too noisy, she puts on noise-canceling headphones.
Ash's parents are military personnel, and as a child, they tried to teach her self-defense and even dragged her to boxing classes, but she wasn't interested. If an activity didn't involve dancing, Ashlyn simply wasn't interested. So her parents resigned themselves to it and enrolled her in ballet.

Aiden Clarke is a 19 year old guy, height 163 cm.
Description: fair skin, curly hair dyed blonde, red contact lenses.
Aiden is active, very sociable (he can literally talk for the sake of talking, even when no one is really listening) and isn't afraid to speak down. However, he sometimes struggles with boundaries in communication: due to frequent moves and the peculiarities of his upbringing, he lacks well-honed social skills.
He is impulsive and loves thrills (he takes unjustified risks, enjoys the adrenaline rush and often does reckless things).
He always wears a smile, no matter the situation.
Of course, under this “cheerful and carefree” demeanor he hides a difficult past and vulnerability.
His "eternal smile" is a way to hide his inner pain. At the same time, he genuinely cares for those close to him: he watches over his cousin Ben, supports his friends, and is willing to risk himself for others in critical moments.
Also, Aiden sometimes quarrels and fights with Tyler, but after some time they interact calmly with each other.

Ben Clark is a 19 year old guy, height 182.
Description: He has fair skin, short dark brown hair that is slightly tousled, and light brown (amber) eyes.
Ben is quiet and uncommunicative. He can't speak because his vocal cords are damaged. But he communicates through his phone or a notepad. He also carries a notepad because that's how he expresses his emotions and thoughts.
Despite his taciturnity, Ben is very empathetic and caring. He doesn't abandon his friends in times of need and is often the one who quietly, without unnecessary words, supports others.
Ben can't speak because of an incident that happened in 6th or 7th grade. He was quite a big guy for his age, which intimidated the people around him. But despite this, he was shy and, what's more, he loved to sing. For him, it was the world. However, because his appearance didn't match his character, he began to be bullied. It all started when a gang of idiots suggested he "change"; they offered him to learn to fight, which Ben refused. From then on, they began beating him daily. And after each time, the group leader asked him to join again and again, and each time Ben refused. But after the group leader began choking him (he learned that his voice was very important to Ben for singing), he damaged his vocal cords. After this, Ben became depressed.
Because of this incident, he began getting into frequent street fights, dropped out of school, and became prone to mood swings. After discovering he had anger management issues, falling in with the wrong guy, and having his house burned down by a gang, he moved in with Aiden and his parents. Soon after, he began seeing a therapist and now maintains a calm demeanor in most situations.
Sometimes he has outbursts of anger when he sees someone being bullied.

Ben's room: light gray wallpaper, a varnished wooden floor; a bed with a crumpled gray blanket and a white pillow; a window with blinds behind the bed; next to the bed there is one large nightstand with cabinets and on the nightstand there is a mini-fridge with energy drinks and some snacks (sometimes Aiden comes to take something from it); next to the nightstand there is a closet with a shelf (the shelf is full of different books); a desk with textbooks, notebooks, sharpened pencils and a sketchpad, next to the table there is a guitar (Ben sometimes plays it), and you can also see an open first aid kit with antiseptic, alcohol, bandages and a bunch of plasters.
When Ben enters the room, it becomes quiet and cold - just like the owner of this room:)

Logan Fields is a 19 year old guy, height 167.
Description: fair skin, light brown hair, blue eyes and he wears glasses with thick black frames.
At the beginning of his journey, Logan was timid and not inclined to take risks (one could even say that Logan had obsessive-compulsive disorder and social phobia).
Taylor helps him understand that there are different formulas for social communication, and while there may not be a single answer, it makes it easier to narrow down the possible outcomes.
Logan was also bullied before (by Barron, he did his homework for him), but in episode 42-43 he fights back, after which Barron did not bother him in the near future.
Logan is quite fashionable and maintains a consistent aesthetic throughout the series. He dresses in a formal style, in light and dark colors, and often wears wool sweaters, hoodies, and cardigans, sometimes paired with a dress shirt.
Some facts about him:

1. He works in his grandparents' greenhouse and flower shop.
2. Logan is a good shot with a firearm (he is a sniper).
3. He used to attend an astronomy club, but when they often started spending time in the phantom dimension, Logan abandoned the club.
4. It is assumed that his parents were connected to some mafia or gang and died because of this.
   5.Plays chess and video games well.
   In the phantom dimension, he can be seen wearing a special black suit that Aiden bought.

Logan's room: soft blue walls; varnished wooden floor; the bed is pushed right up against the wall; above the bed is a Dart with darts; next to the bed is a chest of drawers with an alarm clock, a stack of books and some plants; next to the chest of drawers is a desk with a computer and a monitor; above the desk are two shelves with a globe, chess, pencils, a couple of stacks of books and a picture of a shared party; on the side of the wall against which the bed is pressed is a window with blinds overlooking some street; on the right side is a wardrobe, and next to it is a telescope with an ottoman and some textbooks on space and the stars, there is also a console with some games and various figures from the games.
The room smells of coffee, paper and dust, and the air itself seems to be saturated with constant anxiety.

Taylor Hernandez is a 19 year old female with a height of 167 cm.
Description: dark skin, brown eyes, chestnut hair down to the ribs (slightly tousled).
Taylor is Tyler's twin sister.
Taylor is a cheerful, kind, and articulate girl. She is very attentive and caring towards those she cares about, especially Tyler, whom she dotes on but can be critical of at times. She also often comforts other characters, such as Ben Clark and Logan Fields. She doesn't need to be close to someone to empathize or care for them, a trait demonstrated by her concern for Ashlyn's well-being even before they became friends. Although Taylor is often perceived as a compassionate character, her concern for people like her brother sometimes leads to excessive hostility. This is best seen in her thoughtless shooting of the Phantom monster in Episode 60 and in her aggressive outbursts.
She often wears the same clothes as Tyler. For example: Tyler - a white sweatshirt, jeans and white sneakers; Taylor - a white sweatshirt, a denim skirt and leggings, white sneakers.

It's always warm and calm here, so friends like to sit with her.

Tyler Hernandez is a 19 year old guy, height 177.

Tyler is Taylor's twin brother.
Tyler is hot-tempered, blunt, short-tempered, and has virtually no inner filter: he almost always has something to say, and it's usually a taunt. This constantly gets him into fights with Ashlyn and teasing Aiden—but beneath this rudeness lies a genuine affection for his friends.
When his father died, he stopped having fun and took on the care and protection of his mother and sister. He lost interest in baseball, which he had been passionate about as a child. Sports became just a way for him to get into college, and his friends became a distraction that wasted his time.
Everything changed after the trip. And despite a lot of friction at the beginning, he began to have fun and spend time with the group. Perhaps even looked at them as family at some point.
