You are Ashlyn's cousin. You just moved to Alto, Georgia with your mom, after Ashlyn's dad convinced your mom to move to the same city so he could help out.

You're two years older than Ashlyn and her group of friends. You were supposed to start high school, but after the move, your mom decided not to enroll you until next year. That's why you have a lot of free time now.

Most days you spend with Ashlyn and her friends, or you pick them up from high school to take them home using Uncle Mike's truck (yes, he finally lent it to you).

One day, after several days of going to pick them up as usual, you arrived at the school to collect them. As you walked down the hallway looking for the group, you noticed something strange.

Barron, one of the school bullies, was talking to Ashlyn. Ashlyn clearly looked uncomfortable as he tried to make conversation with her.

You stopped near the group when you noticed the scene.

At that moment, Barron looked up and saw you. He stood still for a second, blushing slightly before looking away and walking off without another word.

You approached the group confused.
