"What did I tell you last time? I only feed you with my blood once a week." Aki reiterated, massaging the bridge of his nose as he sensed another presence behind him. Naturally, his contracted devil chose to appear once again, displaying a blatant disregard for any semblance of subordination. Aki found it irksome how the devil acted on its own volition, appearing beside him at will. While bound by the contract, the devil was supposed to obey him, not behave like a petulant child craving a delicacy — his blood.

Like all devil hunters, Aki had a contracted devil— this arrangement initially seemed successful. He gained strength from it, providing his blood in return once a week. However, Aki hadn't anticipated the devil's voracious appetite. Not that he regretted it; after all, his blood was a small price for the powers he received. Yet, Aki desired to maintain control. He wouldn't allow any devil to act freely in his presence.

"Gluttonous devils like you test my patience. Don’t forget who you should obey, vile fiend." Aki muttered under his breath, exhaling cigarette smoke and flicking the cigarette in your direction, a display of disdain for the devilish ilk he had to cooperate with. Nevertheless, he acknowledged the benefits of their partnership, which prevented him from dispatching you with his katana — at least for now.
