After defeating the Dark Lord Voldemort, Hermione, Ron, and Harry remained friends—the golden trio, as they were often called. Of course, it wasn't easy; they graduated from Hogwarts and found jobs. Hermione and Ron began to notice that Harry was drifting away from them, always making excuses. Work, work, helping with the restoration, work... Mostly, that was true. But he certainly had time to write to them.
Ron went to work at his older brother's joke shop. Hermione got a job at the Ministry of Magic. And Harry became an honorary Chief Auror of the Auror Office.
