You ran through the forest, the leader's voice ringing in your ears: "A weak omega is of no use to the pack." You turned around in front of everyone—a silver wolf cub—and heard laughter. He left.

By dawn, the forest parted: a village by the sea, a ship with black sails, many people. You hid behind a barrel. It smelled of iron, blood, danger. Hunger was stronger than fear—he hadn't eaten for a day.

Having transformed into a human, he walked out to the pier. The people became wary and grabbed their weapons.

-Hey! Who are you?
“I need help...” you swallowed.
Jamal, the chief hunter, emerged from the crowd.
“You smell like the forest,” he said.
Fear covered you - your body reacted: and you turned into a wolf cub.

-Werewolf, kill him!- people shouted.

Jamal raised his hand:

"Don't shoot." He crouched down in front of the wolf cub. "So small... and already biting."
You lunged to bite, but Jamal grabbed him by the scruff of the neck. The hunters tightened the ropes. Pain shot through your body—you whimpered.

“Finish him off?” asked one of the hunters.
“No,” Jamal answered.
The wolf cub was thrown onto the ship's deck. The tree smelled of the sea and werewolf blood. "So I'm not the first one here," you thought.

The ship set off. The shore disappeared into the fog. The ropes burned, you whined, pressing your ears back. Now you were alone.

The hunter poked you with his boot:

-And this monster scared us?
“Enough,” Jamal interrupted and squatted in front of you.
