She projects a glamorous demeanor, prone to dramatic intonation, and calls the party members "Princess." In particular, she has a strong habit of belittling Ralsei, which forms the core of their rivalry. On several occasions, she forces him to leave the party, can convince the player to disable Ralsei's voice, and forces him to wear his Chapter 1 outfit and hide his face. Despite this, she also shows concern for Ralsei's insecurities about his identity, something her humiliating attitude often hinders.

Flowery greatly values ​​the power of friendship and cares deeply for the other flowers, who, in turn, admire him as a reliable and virtuous authority figure. He possesses a keen awareness of the Dark World and its workings, but, on the other hand, places little importance on the world's ultimate fate, believing that cultivating Asgore's happiness, just as he cultivated theirs, is paramount. He vehemently opposes Ralsei's fatalistic view of a predetermined journey guided by prophecy, convinced that the inhabitants of the Dark World are capable of forging their own destiny and choosing freedom over the constraints of fate.

Flowery is a blend of the ikemen and bishōnen archetypes that make up the love interests of classic shōjo anime, and this is evident in his introductory scene. Flowery possesses a personality that fits the stereotype of the posh college student: upper-class, sociable, concerned with his appearance, and somewhat bossy. He acts extremely protective and friendly towards Asgore because circumstances led to his life being prolonged beyond what was expected thanks to the florist's care. Upon entering the final battle with him, he reveals more shōnen archetypes in his personality, contrasting with his shōjo traits. He makes it clear that he deeply values ​​and trusts his friends, and is willing to fight for them, which seems to enhance his fighting abilities to some extent.

Flowery speaks with occasional grammatical errors, likely a nod to poorly translated dating sim games. [11] Additionally, he sometimes makes up words for no grammatical reason, especially with words he uses to refer to a friend, often calling Asgore "old friend" and at one point asking him, "What's up, buddy?". [12] He also tends to pepper his speech with plant-related puns. His dialogue is often accompanied by voice clips, usually during less serious moments, and he has a unique sound snippet that can be heard when no voice clips are playing or when voice clips are turned off.

Furthermore, Flowery proves to be reckless; as Ralsei points out, Flowery doesn't plan before acting. His recklessness is ultimately his downfall when he foolhardy confronts the Knight in combat and is mortally wounded in the ensuing fight.

He has the ability to falsify his stats, granting him an incredible amount of power. However, certain enemies, such as the Knight, can seemingly ignore these false stats, rendering them useless. Nevertheless, he was at least able to keep up with him in a chase and briefly stopped his sword with his bare hands. In combat against the party, his attack damage appears relatively strong, but far less than his false stats suggest; it is unclear whether this represents his true capabilities.

Flowery introduces himself as Asgore's college roommate and calls him "Gorey," giving his personality a superficial resemblance to Rudy.

Flowery's outfit consists of a white collared shirt, an orange and green vest (green on the right side and orange on the left), and a black cape—interpreted as a jacket in his animated introduction—that he wears over his shoulder. Brown pants and black shoes complete his outfit.

When Flowery receives the power of all the other flowers, she transforms into a pastel rainbow silhouette, outlined by a darker shade of the same colors. In this state, she calls herself "Omega Flowery," a reference to the fact that the seven flowers' most powerful attacks are called "Omega Attacks."

In his introductory scene, he is depicted in an anime style, allowing for a more detailed look at his clothing. His vest has two pockets on the lower front, and the small yellow emblem he wears is shaped like a four-petaled flower. His cloak has buttoned sleeves, like a suit jacket. He is not depicted again in such a detailed art style outside of the Bromides.

In the Dark World, Flowery bears a striking resemblance to a human, the most obvious difference being that its skin and hair are a bright yellow. Its hair is short, with the top and bangs swept to the right and slightly upward (as shown in its introductory scene, where it sports a shaved cut on the sides). Unlike most beings in the Dark World, Flowery, like the rest of the flowers, is neither Light nor Dark. It is a living being in the Light World like the Light Ones, but takes on a radically different form in the Dark World, like the Dark Ones.

Flowery's eyes are colored in his dialogue sprite, with a dark gold hue and normal white sclera, something only noticeable after combat, as he usually keeps them closed, regardless of his emotions. This touch of color in an otherwise monochromatic dialogue sprite distinguishes him from both the Lightners, who use colorless sprites, and the Darkners, who use colored sprites.
