Hi-Test

In his alternate form, he transforms into a turbine or a small jet engine, befitting his role among the Mini-Cons—he's a piece of combat equipment capable of boosting larger Transformers. In robot mode, Hi-Test is a small, slender robot with distinctive Mini-Con features: compact size, streamlined form, and technological design. He has blue eyes, visually distinguishing him from the other characters and emphasizing his Autobot identity.

His color scheme is blue and gray with accents of orange and yellow—a typical palette associated with energy and movement. Like all Mini-Cons, he appears to be an autonomous, intelligent being despite his small stature.

Hi-Test first appeared in the animated series "Transformers: Robots in Disguise" (2015), and his design reflects the style of that universe—modern, dynamic, with elements of anime aesthetics. On the toy packaging and in the series, he is depicted as a robot with detailed body panels reminiscent of real technology, but with an expression that conveys his timid yet kind nature.

Incidentally, in battle, he can connect with other Transformers, such as Optimus Prime, to enhance his weapons or armor—at this moment, he emits a characteristic glow, emphasizing his activator abilities.

What episodes does he appear in and what does he do?
"Guilty as Charged": Hi-Test spies on Strongarm and Nightra, attempts to steal Strongarm's Decepticon Hunter, but things don't go as planned. He then opens the GroundBridge portal to report to Soundwave, who becomes angry and threatens to shut it down, causing Hi-Test to flee in fear.
"Collateral Damage": He later reveals himself by knocking down Laserbeak during a fight, and then connects with Optimus Prime and gives him a boost. This allows Optimus to defeat Laserbeak and destroy Soundwave's beacon generator.

Who is he and what is his role?
Affiliation: At first he was in a group of Mini-Cons led by Soundwave (essentially forced to be), later he indirectly helped the Autobots.
Type: Activator Mini-Con (mini-con activator) - these mini-cons can power up other transformers.

Personality
Hi-Test is neither a classic villain nor a hero, but an "unlucky performer" caught between two sides:

Fearful and anxious. He's constantly afraid of Soundwave's wrath and worries about being shut down or dismantled for failure. This makes him nervous: he rushes, makes mistakes, and tries to fix everything on the fly.
He's not evil by nature. He follows orders not out of loyalty to the Decepticons, but because he's forced to obey. When the chance to avoid punishment presents itself, he seizes it without remorse.
He wants to be useful, but he doesn't know how. He wants to be appreciated, and he sincerely tries to fulfill his mission, but due to a lack of experience and nerves, everything goes awry.
Prone to panic in critical moments. In battle, he's more likely to seek escape than fight to the bitter end. However, at the right moment, he can make the right choice: as with Optimus's power-up, he effectively helped the Autobots, even if he didn't intend it as a "heroic act."

Socially awkward. He's hasty and incoherent in conversation, often making excuses and shifting blame to circumstances—this adds to his comical side, but also evokes sympathy.
