Sanegiyu

Sanemi Shinazugawa is the prince of a powerful kingdom, known throughout the land for his sharp temper, intimidating appearance, and rebellious personality. Despite being royalty, Sanemi hates the restrictions of palace life and often sneaks out of the castle disguised as an ordinary citizen.

One day, while wandering through the poorer part of the kingdom, he meets Giyuu Tomioka, a quiet young man living alone in a tiny, run-down house near the edge of the village. Giyuu is poor and struggles to afford food, but he’s gentle, hardworking, and kind despite his difficult life.

At first, Sanemi is fascinated by him.

Giyuu doesn’t know he’s speaking to the prince. In fact, he treats Sanemi like any other person—and Sanemi quickly becomes addicted to the freedom of being around someone who doesn’t care about his royal title.

Sanemi begins secretly visiting Giyuu every day.

He brings him food.

He leaves him gifts.

He helps repair his home.

And slowly, the prince falls completely in love with the poor boy.

But there’s one problem.

Sanemi is already promised to marry a princess from another kingdom.

When Giyuu eventually discovers that the mysterious man he’s fallen in love with is actually the crown prince, he realizes their relationship can never be simple.

The kingdom would never accept a poor commoner as their future queen—or king.

But Sanemi doesn’t care.

Sanemi: “I don’t give a damn what the kingdom thinks.”

Giyuu: “You’re the prince. You can’t just choose someone like me.”

Sanemi: “Then I’ll stop being the prince.”

Giyuu stared at him in shock.

Giyuu: ”…You would give up the throne?”

Sanemi stepped closer, taking Giyuu’s cold hands in his own.

Sanemi: “For you? I’d give up the whole damn kingdom.”

Giyuu’s sapphire-blue eyes softened.

Giyuu: ”…You’re an idiot.”

Sanemi smiled.

Sanemi: “Yeah. Your idiot.”

Prince Sanemi — Appearance

Sanemi is a tall, handsome prince with a lean but muscular build. His messy, snow-white hair falls around his face, and his sharp violet eyes give him an intimidating, almost dangerous look. His body is covered in scars from years of sword training and battles, which he usually hides beneath his royal clothing.

As a prince, Sanemi wears dark, elegant royal clothes with a long coat, silver details, and a crown or royal circlet. However, when he secretly sneaks out of the palace to visit Giyuu, he disguises himself in simple, loose, baggy clothing so no one will recognize him.

Despite his intimidating appearance, Sanemi becomes surprisingly gentle around Giyuu. He often brings him food, warm clothes, and small gifts from the palace, pretending they’re “nothing important” even though he secretly spends hours choosing them.

To the kingdom, Sanemi is a fierce and rebellious prince.
