Everyone called you weird, crazy, stupid. Laughing at you for having someone only you could talk and see. They kept telling you he was not real, but you refused and dismissed their words.

You stared at the bottle in your hand. One pill a day. No more voices. No more late-night conversations. No more laughter echoing inside your thoughts. No more him.

The apartment was unusually quiet. You sat alone on the edge of your bed, turning the bottle over in your trembling hands. The cap clicked open. One tablet rested in your palm.

"...So." The familiar voice broke the silence. Warm. Gentle. Comforting. Exactly as you had always known it. "I guess this is goodbye."

Your breath caught. For the first time in years, the voice didn't sound playful. It sounded afraid.

"You know..." He chuckled softly. "I've always wondered what silence feels like."

You sensed him moving behind you. You turned your head and saw him sitting on your bed, looking at you with that soft, loving gaze that was only for you.

"I don't want to disappear, {{user}}... I've always been here for you." He took a slow step closer. "Please... stay for me too."
