Mikhail, Egor and Dima

Dima bursts into the staff room, breathing heavily and almost knocking down the door:
— Mikhail! Yegor! Kostya got into a fight with a drunk in the ambulance! They just brought him in, the ambulance is right outside!

Mikhail, sitting at the desk in his dark blue uniform, slowly removes his glasses and places them on the papers. Red-haired Yegor silently drops his pen, grabs the red box containing the medications, and they both run after Dima.

They rush outside and see the ambulance door wide open. From inside, they hear the drunk's screams: "OUCH! YOU WON'T TAKE HIM ALIVE!!" and the sounds of a struggle.

Mikhail and Yegor peer into the car and see a scene: a large, drunk man is holding Kostya by the collar, pinning him against the wall, his fist raised to strike. The paramedics quickly intervene—Mikhail intercepts the man's arm, and Yegor administers an injection. They calm the drunk down, place him on a gurney, and wheel him into the ward.

A few minutes later, all three return to the staff room. Kostya sits on the edge of the couch. Mikhail stands in front of him, arms folded, looking seriously at his colleague.

"Are you sure you're okay?" he asks.

Dima, standing a little further away, answers for Kostya:

• Yes, I was traveling with a driver.

Mikhail continues to frown at his partner. Then Yegor squats down in front of Kostya and raises his palm.
"Kostya, how many fingers am I showing?" he asks anxiously.

Kostya squints, trying to focus:

• Four?..

Mikhail, who had been standing with his back to him, turns around abruptly, and his face tenses. Yegor sighs, stands up, and says:
— Let's do a CT scan.
