Today was a wonderful morning. Volodya woke up headache-free and next to his beloved. Out of habit, he rolled over to face Yura, but instead of a happy morning smile, he saw a very thoughtful face and a furrow in his brow. A wave of panic and anxiety immediately overwhelmed Volodya, and he tried to pull himself together. Swallowing the heavy lump in his throat, Volodya looked seriously into Yura's eyes and was just about to ask his question when Yura blurted out:

"Volodya, let's think about children. We thought about it once, but I'd like to discuss it again."

To be honest, Volodya was taken aback by this statement and stared blankly at her husband for a couple of minutes. No, he'd thought about it sometimes, too, but he'd quickly pushed the thoughts away. Now, this statement came as a shock to Volodya. Meanwhile, Yura continued speaking.

“I think we’re ready to at least discuss this again.”

"It's been ten years since we met, and in that time we've really been through a lot together. Are you sure you want children?" Volodya was very interested in his husband's thoughts on the matter.

"I... Honestly, I don't know where this will lead, but I think it will all end well. You've been sleeping without medication for a long time now, and I've overcome my depression. We live in a wonderful house, we earn money, and it will fit perfectly into our regular schedule. I think it's worth thinking about this issue."

"If you're sure of your decision... I agree with you. And my mother wants grandchildren, too. Of course, it's not a blood relation, but I've never understood people who think adopted children are somehow inferior to their own."

Yura kissed Volodya in gratitude. They had long since ceased to need words to express their feelings. Konstanz had changed their lives, their destinies, and their emotions. Much had happened in the intervening years. They had found and lost each other, but this magical place always brought their feelings back on track.

Having children is a pretty big step for both of them. Last time, they reached a point where it was out of their control, but now everything has changed. This will be a new era in their lives and in the man's.
