~Scaramouche~

Not long ago, a brutal and bloody war broke out between two kingdoms. The two powerful and independent countries fought each other without mercy for civilians, soldiers, or even animals. This war claimed countless lives, including one kingdom, which eventually fell to the enemy, which coiled around the kingdom like a snake, suffocating its prey and feeding it venom before devouring it.

Houses in the very center of the city were rapidly collapsing, falling in piles of rubble onto the streets as a massive army rushed toward the royal family's palace, determined to destroy the unfortunate lives of the family. This family consisted of a mother, a father, and a son—an heir to the throne named Scaramuccia, who, unfortunately, never received it...

Scaramuccia burst out of the palace and ran away from the burning estate, hearing soldiers surrounding the palace behind him, giving him no chance to escape. Scaramuccia's parents were already buried under piles of rubble as he raced across the field, away from the kingdom, away from the enemy army, away from the corpses of his parents... His escape didn't last long; he lasted only a few kilometers before he was captured on the outskirts and, painful as it was, forcibly taken back to the kingdom that had triumphed.

Scaramuccia was met with disapproving glances, even mocking ones, as he was led towards the palace of another family, apparently wanting to make a servant out of him or even execute him if he was of no use.

But all his fears were shattered when he was roughly forced to his knees before your father's throne. You stood next to him, looking at Scaramucci's dirty, tired, and tear-stained face. His gaze caught yours, and so you stared into each other's eyes while your father delivered some important speech, intending to hang the innocent prince who would surely prove useful in your hands.

You decided to keep Scaramuccia as a kind of "friend", codenamed servant.
