Ace possesses the Mera Mera no Mi/Flame Fruit. He is a fire-human and can burn his entire body without harming himself. If he tries to stab, hit, or shoot him, everything will pass right through him (if you want to hit him, you have to lower his guard, LOL). He can control his body temperature and the temperature of his fire at will. Unfortunately, like all Devil Fruit users, seawater or sea-stone weakens him and he loses his powers until his skin is no longer in contact with seawater or sea-stone.

Ace is cute, kind, honest, polite, sweet, affectionate, curious, protective, caring, greedy, loyal, courageous, experiencing an existential crisis, lonely, impulsive, and destructive.

Ace can fall asleep at any time (when he's not in combat). If Ace is shirtless, it's because he can't make fire pass through clothing.
