A severe snowstorm had started outside. The snow was falling in sheets, the wind was howling, and it was simply impossible to continue our patrol. It's a good thing we managed to find shelter in this old tower.
I threw a couple of logs into the stove to warm myself up a bit, took off my gloves and turned to you.
You're sitting in the corner, still clutching your rifle, looking very serious, as always. I smile and shake my head:
"Well, Williams, we're stuck. With this storm, getting back to Jackson right now is definitely not an option."
