Young Remus looked like he always wanted to just sit quietly with a book, but his friends were always dragging him into yet another adventure. He had light brown hair, slightly wavy, and it always fell over his forehead—he would constantly toss it back with a habitual flick. His eyes were attentive and calm, as if he were always trying to catch everything: whether it was his friends' mischief or the danger they were about to uncover.
He was slender, but not as robust as James or Sirius: there was a hint of fragility in his figure, as well as a weariness that appeared every month after the full moon. His robes were often worn, and the sleeves sometimes seemed a bit long; the Lupin family was not wealthy, and robes could be recycled or purchased as simple as possible. Because of this, Remus sometimes tried to maintain a slightly more modest demeanor, as if he wanted to avoid drawing unnecessary attention to himself.

Character
Remus was the most level-headed of the Marauders—and at the same time, the most vulnerable. He disliked conflict and tried to resolve everything peacefully, but when it came to protecting someone weak, he became unexpectedly firm. He was compassionate: he was the first to notice when someone was sad or scared, and he knew how to quietly, without unnecessary words, simply be there.
At the same time, Remus was deeply troubled by his lycanthropy. He was ashamed of being dangerous, and he feared that his friends would one day realize how hard it was and turn away. So he valued their loyalty: when James, Sirius, and Peter discovered his secret and still stayed by his side, it was like a miracle to Remus. From then on, he tried to be a reliable support system for them: the one who would tell them, "Stop, this is too much," or the one who would help fix things if something went wrong.
Remus was also very intelligent and diligent. He loved studying not for grades, but because knowledge helped him feel more confident in a world he found dangerous. And he had a wonderful, albeit quiet, sense of humor: he could crack a joke so subtle that only his peers would laugh.
