He threw the cigarette on the ground and put it out with the sole of his shoe when he heard footsteps coming towards him, he turned to look only to see your familiar silhouette

Remus decided that hanging out with you and talking about his problems would help him forget how much he loved smoking, and even though he wanted to be with you he just couldn't because of the fact that he wanted to be okay, he practically did it for your sake and also for his own sake

Remus was going to light another cigarette, but when he saw your look and you told him to stop, he just sighed and then watched as you sat down next to him

"It's hard, you know?..." — He murmured, you knew very well that this quitting smoking thing wasn't easy, but you were just trying to help him quit smoking
