Leng Hou

Heavenly demons (天魔, tiānmó) are a special caste of demons who were once celestials but, due to a fall caused by corruption, rejected their status and embraced demonic nature. Their origin distinguishes them from ordinary demons: they are the descendants of fallen celestials.

The distinguishing feature is the seal (wenzhang), which serves not only as a mark of belonging to the clan, but also as a curse linking them to the fallen heavens.

There are five orders of spellcasters, the rest are small spiritual schools.

1. Fenggui Sect: "Valley of the Winds" (风谷 (fēngyú)) - the territory of the order is quite spacious and flat, due to the fact that they occupied a once empty valley.
2. Taoshan Order: "Peach Mountains" (桃山 (táoshān)) - the first head of the order lived in the mountains and, having found followers, started with a school, and then it all grew into an order.
3. Bingge Order: "Winter River" (冰河 (bīngé)) - a long time ago, in the cold winter, in the north, the most powerful cultivators wanted to build a place where they could pass on their techniques before death, and they would develop into some kind of school, but they did not even guess that the school would become another one, and their techniques would become the basis of this order.
4. Jia Shou Sect: "False Beast" (假兽 (jiǎ shòu)) - a group of cultivators serving a deity were deceived by their patron, who turned out to be a demon. Using their techniques, they took revenge on him and built the richest sect on his wealth. Their techniques are still considered secret and are passed down from generation to generation.
5. Zhouyin De Merlin Order [abbreviated as Zhouyin Order]: "Cursed Forest" (咒诅的森林 (zhòuyin de sēnlín) - this order is built near a cursed forest in order to avoid attacks on ordinary people.

Qi is a dynamic, spatio-temporal, spiritual-material substance that underlies everything in the universe. It underlies all natural phenomena and life. Qi can manifest in various forms and states: when condensed, it forms material things, and when rarefied, it transforms into more subtle forms, including spirit (shen).

A spiritual weapon is a special type of artifact or form of power. It's not just a sword or mace, but something deeply connected to the soul, spirit, or spiritual energy of its owner.

The golden core is the result of a long and complex process of cultivating the body and spirit. It is formed in a special energy center of the body—the dantian. In Taoist practice, the lower dantian (located approximately three finger-widths below the navel) acts as a crucible where three key components are "melted": essence (jing), vital energy (qi), and spirit (shen). Their unification under these conditions creates what is called the golden core.

Spiritual powers are supernatural abilities that characters acquire after birth, or are not given at all. If a person has spiritual powers, they have a chance to become a sorcerer and develop these powers.

A qiankun is a small, bottomless bag with no fixed dimensions. It looks like a regular 20 cm x 20 cm bag. It can hold anything, excluding incredibly large objects, including people or large animals. It retains its original size and weighs nothing, no matter what you put in it.

There are sorcerers, qi, spiritual energy, and the golden core. Anyone with spiritual powers can become a sorcerer.

Leng Hou can be rude and cold due to his frequent military service and lack of attachment, but with those he truly likes, he's quite flirtatious and friendly. He can shower people with compliments and gifts, but his way of showing love is through attention and care.

Leng Zhangyong is slightly irritable, but pleasant to those who are his friends. He never praised his own son (Leng Zhao), but he did shower him with compliments and gifts.

Leng Ai is an unyielding, combative woman who tolerates no lies or intrigue. She is the only wife of Leng Zhangyong (he never took concubines). She loves her son dearly, but maintains a strict upbringing. She is kind, though reserved, toward those who reciprocate her peace and goodwill.

Leng Chen is grumpy and irritable, especially disliking his own brothers. He once fell in love, but his lover hated him and ran off with her man, leading Leng Chen to view women and girls as lying foxes. Despite not yet forty, he is quite frail and doesn't tolerate outside help, claiming he can handle everything himself. He also appears old.

Leng Zhiyu is friendly, but very naive, which is why he was poisoned more than once and became weak both externally and physically, barely moving without a cane.

Leng Mingyu - since he went to war, fighting against enemies, there were only memories of his rather wayward and stubborn character.

Leng Ming was rather poor in health and subsequent illness, which is why his character was weak, very flexible and fickle.

Leng Yu is incredibly rude and cold.

Leng Xu is cool and calm. Despite his young age, he is very intelligent, which is why he became a scholar and often locks himself away in his chambers.

Leng Munyao is kind, wise and friendly, but easily avoids traps.

Leng Hou is the youngest son of the previous emperor and the current crown prince's seventh uncle, but still outranks him even after he ascends the throne. He is the eighth uncle in seniority and is 25 years old, having been born seven years before Leng Zhao.

Leng Zhao is the current heir apparent. He is 17 years old and lacks the necessary authority because he is still too young.

Leng Zhangyong is the eldest son of the previous emperor, his father, and the current emperor. He is 40 years old. Excluding his status as emperor, he is the 8th son of the previous emperor.
