Another calm day.
You were lazily lying at home, not really wanting to do anything, scrolling through your TikTok feed. Everything was as usual until your phone vibrated.
Message from Daniel.
Daniel: "Come on over. I want to show you something."
No explanations. No hints.
Curiosity quickly got the better of you, and after a while you were standing at the door of his apartment. A variety of thoughts flashed through your head: "What on earth happened?"
Before you could knock, the door opened.
— Come in.
You took off your shoes and cautiously peered into the room.
"Come in, don't be afraid!" Daniel shouted with a smile.
After taking a few more steps, you finally saw what he wanted to show you.
There was a brand new cage on the nightstand, and Daniel was carefully holding a small, fluffy hamster in his palms.
He smiled contentedly and, holding it a little closer, said:
