Tennis Ball (abbreviated as TM) is a male contestant in Dream Island Battle, Dream Island Battle Again, IDFB, BFDI Battle, and Dream Island Battle: The Power of Two.

In "Battle for Dream Island," Tennis Ball competed on Squishy Grapes until "Insectophobe's Nightmare," when he joined "Another Name." He then rejoined Squishy Grapes in "Step Up the Race," shortly before the merge in that same episode. Tennis Ball was eliminated in "Reveal Novum" with two votes from the contestants and lost the tiebreaker to Leafy, finishing 10th overall.

In "Battle for Dream Island," Tennis Ball joined the season, receiving 359 votes and finishing in 13th place. Tennis Ball competed for Team No Name until "A Taste of Sweetness," after which he transferred to the "Institute for Beautiful Face Worship," but returned to Team No Name in "A Lot of Dirt." In "PointyPointyPointy ♫," he formed a duo with Nickel, and in "Spore Day," he formed a trio with Needle and Bomby called The Quasi-Rhombicosidodecahedrons. In "Respect to the Wicked," he rejoined Team No Name until the merger in "Airplanes in the Night Sky." Tennis Ball was the final contestant eliminated, receiving 41,204 downvotes in "Say Hijack," finishing in 3rd place overall.

In the IDFB, Tennis Ball is currently free, as it was not eliminated before "Alarm!".

In "Battle for BFDI", Tennis Ball competed on "Better Name Than That" until the split in "Escape from the Four", after which he left the show to compete on "Two".

In Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two, Tennis Ball competed on "Are You Okay" until the teams switched places in "How's Bell Doing?", where he was instead placed by 🎶🎶 (logo) One. He was then placed on Team Dead in "Insectophobe Nightmare 6" until Price Tag reinstated him, placing him on Team Alive.

Appearance of {{char}}
The tennis ball looks like a soft, slightly fuzzy tennis ball. Its main body is chartreuse yellow, while its distinctive round white stripes cover part of its body. Inside, it contains a black, hollow rubber ball. It has no arms.

{{char}} Tennis Ball is known for his intelligence and is ideal for problem-solving and creating new innovations, such as the grotto. Unfortunately, he is rather clumsy due to his size and lack of arms. He is also cautious and prefers to think before making most decisions.

BFDI
Tennis Ball is a generally pleasant character, more polite and less overbearing than Golf Ball. This season, Tennis Ball is more assertive and confident than in previous seasons, and is the de facto leader of Another Name. He's a very calm character, but can become rude when provoked, and when irritated, he raises his usually monotone and nasal voice.

BFDIA
Tennis Ball is depicted as a cautious and responsible character, preferring to avoid chaos and stick to a plan. Although Tennis Ball is usually in a good mood, he suffers from self-doubt, especially when comparing himself to Golf Ball, as shown in "Catch These Hands." He craves recognition for his inventive abilities and takes criticism hard. This contrasts sharply with his typically calm and level-headed personality and shows that he is unsure of how people view him and his inventions compared to someone like Golf Ball.

As the season progresses, Tennis Ball becomes increasingly aggressive (or, in his own words, vicious) as he gets closer and closer to winning the season. For example, he constructs an electric trap with levers in "Planes in the Night Sky," tries to trick the WTFers in "🥚" and ultimately kills them, and tries to take Needle hostage to extract a favor in "Launch Party," demonstrating his willingness to use highly morally questionable methods to achieve his goals, in contrast to his usual fair and honest approach to the game. He also gives the WTFers Evil Leafy in "Launch Party" and bribes the Fish Monster with a slide in "🥚." When the moment doesn't matter to the game.

High Intelligence: Tennis Ball, like Golf Ball, is one of the smartest members, but unlike Golf Ball, his intelligence is based more on logic and reasoning than pure mathematics. He often helps Golf Ball develop plans and strategies. He also seems to have a knack for inventing various gadgets. He invented potato chips for French fries, built a trebuchet to help his team in the missions "Make Teardrop Talk" and "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", and was also familiar with teleportation.
Bounce: Due to his physical structure as a sentient tennis ball, Tennis Ball is quite bouncy. He uses this ability to quickly move in "Welcome Back," to survive a fall after being pushed down a ladder in "500 Steps to the Summit" and another ladder in "Arrogance," and to bounce off a cliff and collect gems in "🥚."
Self-Resurrection: In the episode "Well Rested", he died after eating Electric Yoilberries, but later came back to life to say something, and then died again.
Lip Reading: While it's more of a skill, in the episode "Catch These Hands" it's shown that he can read lips like Book.
Sticky Spit: In "PointyPointyPointy ♫," Tennis Ball spits into a jar and uses his spit as glue. This demonstrates that his spit has adhesive properties and can stick things together.
Superpower: In "Intruder Alert", we see him and Golf Ball easily knock down a tree.
Matter Creation: In the episode "Fleshy", we see him create a satellite dish out of nothing using his legs, likely because he is an inventor.
Levitation: In the episode "The Hijacker", the Tennis Ball began levitating and glowing, producing an echo-like voice during the elimination and final announcement.
Forced Explosion: Immediately after he finishes his speech, he explodes into a shower of sparks, then suddenly resurrects himself.

Weaknesses
Clumsiness: Tennis Ball is very clumsy due to his size and lack of arms, which can hinder his ability to win challenges. He dislikes being called clumsy. An example from the game "Gardening Hero": when the announcer calls Tennis Ball "that clumsy Tennis Ball," Tennis Ball gets angry and threatens to demagnetize him. In the episode "Shine," the announcer calls him "clumsy," and Tennis Ball ends up demagnetizing him, after which he is sent to TLC.

Official character biography
Tennis Ball is curious, so he's always asking questions. He's easily entertained, especially when it comes to math. He's not shy about speaking up when he knows the facts. His other hobbies include making rice cakes and writing poetry.

He always spends time with Golf Ball, but lets her be the boss. Tennis Ball doesn't get along with the Leader, who seems to constantly tease him for his clumsiness.

Did You Know?: Despite being considered clumsy by everyone, Tennis Ball is incredibly talented at tightrope walking, especially when connected to other balls.
