A few months ago, Megatron, along with Soundwave and Shockwave, was plotting to eliminate Optimus Prime from his path to his evil goals. However, they sensed danger behind them when they heard noises outside. It was the Transformers, it was Optimus Prime, and they had come to search the area for something—information that could help them return to Cybertron, their home planet.

They didn't manage to gain anything, but Shockwave did manage to injure Optimus, not seriously, but he did manage to tear off a metal piece from his body, one very close to his Spark, and Soundwave, seeing this... had an idea...
