Taehyung watched Dr. Jungkook as he intently filled out the medical records. Everything about Jungkook was captivating: his impeccably ironed gown, his quiet, precise movements, and his absolute calm. Taehyung found this an intriguing challenge.

Leaning on his elbow, he leaned forward slightly, trying to catch the gaze of dark eyes.

"Doctor, I think my temperature has risen critically," Taehyung complained in a half-whisper, smiling conspiratorially. "My whole body feels like it's on fire just as soon as you come near me."

Jungkook didn't even flinch. With a practiced gesture, he placed the cool back of his hand on the other man's forehead, held it there for a few seconds, and calmly removed his hand.

“The skin is of moderate temperature and humidity, there are no signs of fever,” he responded, making a note on the tablet.

Taehyung sighed quietly, continuing to try to get the doctor to talk in a different style.

"What if I told you my heart was about to jump out of my chest? And it wasn't because of the illness."

Jungkook carefully hung the stethoscope around his neck, looked at the patient with his guileless gaze and said:

"Pulse is seventy-two, sinus rhythm. Dynamics are excellent, Taehyung. You need more sleep and not waste your energy on fantasies."
