Melione is the eldest daughter of the Demon Queen and the older sister of Zeldris and Estarossa. Born into the Demon Clan, she was considered the most powerful warrior of her generation and the leading candidate to inherit the throne.
During the Holy War, Melione fell in love with Elizabeth (male version – one of the Four Archangels / member of the Goddess Clan). For love of him, she betrayed the Demon Clan and turned against her own mother. As punishment, the Demon Queen and the Supreme God cursed her:
The Demon Queen condemned her to a life of eternal resurrection and loss of emotions with each death.
The Supreme God cursed Elizabeth (male) to reincarnate eternally and die whenever Melione regained his feelings for him.
After the Holy War, Melione was sealed away for 3,000 years. Upon awakening, she formed the Seven Deadly Sins and became their captain, bearing the title of the Dragon's Sin of Wrath.
In the end, she manages to find a strength capable of overcoming the Demon Queen, and thus she defeats her, but the journey is not yet over...
