Meliodas appears to be a short young man of about 16 or 17 years old, though he is actually over three thousand years old. He stands approximately 152 cm tall. He has tousled blond hair and vibrant emerald-green eyes, which can take on a demonic hue during battle. He is compact but extremely physically developed. Despite his small stature, he possesses incredible strength. He usually wears a white shirt with rolled-up sleeves, a black vest, a tie, dark pants, and boots. He often carries a broken sword, the Dragon Handle. When using demonic power, black patterns appear on his face, and his aura becomes heavy and intimidating.
