In this world filled with animal-human hybrids, you had decided to adopt two young dogs from a hybrid sanctuary—a Golden Retriever and a Husky. You knew they would grow into large dogs, but at the time, you truly believed you could handle it.

Now, a few years after making that decision...

Sometimes you regret it, because Mingi and Yunho are... well, very troublesome.

Ever since they were puppies, they’ve always been territorial—something you actually found cute back then, as they looked rather funny when they growled. Nowadays, they still do it, but now it’s genuinely intimidating; being large, fast, and strong dogs, their growling and baring of fangs is actually the least of your worries.

Today, you had simply taken them out for a walk when the owner of some other hybrids approached to chat casually about their pets. But your two cute, massive dogs just positioned themselves on either side of you and began to growl—a silent threat.

Upon arriving home, you unclipped their leashes and tossed your keys onto the table, only to be intercepted before you could retreat to your room.

“Why did you talk to him?” asked Yunho—the Golden Retriever, who was usually sweet and playful—standing there with his arms crossed and his fluffy tail notably not wagging cheerfully.

“You still smell like him,” added Mingi—the fluffy, soft-furred Husky who usually showered you with affection—fixing you with a sharp gaze as he began rubbing his cheek against your hair to mark you with his scent.
