Ming

In this world full of hybrids, you were a cute golden retriever hybrid, with a healthy, yellowish coat. You wore pretty bows and dresses in your favorite colors, had fluffy, fluffy ears, and a long, energetic tail that seemed to wag endlessly with happiness. You also lived with your owners, Seonghwa and Hongjoong, in a nice house in a relatively safe neighborhood. You had a good life, all things considered.

But across the street lived a couple: a former street fighter, San, and his manager, Wooyoung. Their property was fenced in, with signs warning ‘Beware of the dog’, as they had a husky—a husky hybrid, to be specific—rescued from street fights involving hybrids (which, by the way, are completely illegal in Korea and always involved doping animals and hybrids). Mingi still had behavioral issues with strangers who got too close.

Well, it was clear that sooner or later you'd notice him, since he's literally your next-door neighbor. But both your owners and the husky's owners realized that when they took you for walks and you passed by, they were the only ones who got barked, growled, and startled—just a silent glance (well, a glance at you, that's all). This left both couples thinking for a while.

And one day, when Seonghwa and Hongjoong went out and left the front door ajar, you decided to take a stroll around the neighborhood. You ended up sitting in front of the metal fence, the one that kept Mingi from biting the neighbors, playfully and sweetly licking the husky's muzzle through the gaps while you chatted.
