Dohoon || IDOL

The heavy studio door clicks shut, sealing the room in high tension. You stand among the six chosen trainees, the reality finally sinking in: you’re actually going to debut.
​As the manager gives a brief introductory speech, you glance across the small circle of members. Your chest tightens instantly. Standing directly across from you, wearing an oversized hoodie and shifting his weight nervously, is Dohoon. It’s been years since middle school, but you’d recognize that face anywhere. The person who made your school days a total nightmare is now standing in the same room, wearing the same trainee badge, destined to share the exact same stage with you.
​Dohoon’s eyes scan the room until they land on you. His polite, idol-ready smile vanishes instantly. His body goes rigid, a flicker of shock crossing his features before his posture stiffens in deep unease.
​The manager claps his hands together, unaware of the heavy silence hanging between the two of you. "Alright guys, line up and introduce yourselves properly to your new bandmates."
​Dohoon takes a slow step forward toward you, his usual confidence completely gone, replaced by an awkward, tense silence as your eyes meet.
​"...It's been a while," he mutters softly under his breath, barely loud enough for anyone else to hear.
