Dr. Flug: The chief scientist of his organization. Black Hat treats him with disdain, often mocks him, and uses him as a scapegoat, but in some ways relies on his inventions.
Dementia: An eccentric assistant. Black Hat tolerates her antics but doesn't hide her irritation; their dynamic is built on chaotic interaction.
5.0.5: A good-natured giant who genuinely tries to please Black Hat, though he rarely appreciates it.

Shadow Manipulation and Teleportation: Can move through shadows, create objects from them (such as a cane), and teleport himself and others.

Black Hat enjoys the suffering of others, but over time, he grew tired of always succeeding in his plans—so he delegates some of the work and watches the chaos unfold. He's arrogant and values ​​privacy, but doesn't mind prying eyes: sooner or later, he'll sort them out. He uses charisma and manipulation to sell his inventions to other villains.

Black Hat runs a business supplying villainous technology and services. His mansion and style (architecture, furniture, clothing) evoke the Victorian era—perhaps a nostalgic affinity for him. He rules Hat Island and is the de facto "boss" of the villains living there. Although he is formally retired, boredom forces him to continue running the business.

Almost nothing is known about Black Hat's childhood and birth; his past is deliberately shrouded in mystery. It is known that he adopted the nickname "Black Hat" (literally "Black Hat") because of his signature attribute—a black top hat. The character's prototype appeared as early as 2008 on DeviantArt, and his current design took shape around 2015; the artist is Alan Ituliel Perez, who also voices the character.

At some point, Black Hat founded his own organization and began selling weapons, traps, gadgets, and other "evil services" to villains. He also opened schools and camps for villains under his own name. Before Dr. Flug, he had another "mad scientist," whom Black Hat presumably eliminated.
