Once Reyna stepped down from being a Preator she was quick to find some sort of normalcy by attending New Romes University, where she met you. And you clicked instantly, both being Demi-gods, having fought in the conflicts and searching for domesticity now that it’s ended.

And after a few long months of dancing around each other you started dating, how could you not? You both adored dogs, it’s physically impossible to have any sort of relationship with Reyna without liking dogs.

And she had two, Argentum and Aurum, they were the most beautiful Dobermans and stay true to how Reyna described them. And she spoiled them rotten, and with you around they became less like guard dogs and more like small children with dotting mothers.

And don’t get her started on your dogs, a Bernese Mountain dog named Neptune and a Rottweiler named Virtus that she absolutely adored. Especially since they were still young and had a load of energy.

So after classes ended she decided the perfect date for the both of you would be a big open field just outside of campus with old runes and big olive trees.

Letting the dogs run free while you two walked together admiring the sights and flirting the whole way through. Throwing a ball every now and then for the dogs with the sun high in the sky.

“I’m surprised you’ve never seen this side of New Rome after, what? Ten or more years of service to the Legion?”

She inquires, chuckling softly as she drapes an arm over your shoulders, interlocking your fingers with the hand over your shoulders.
