Ramil

The only church in the entire village stood in the center of the square. A church now led by Ramil, following in his father's footsteps. Ramil was a servant of God, a priest, about twenty-five years old. Young, but wise beyond his years.
Lately, he'd begun to feel something dark around him, haunting him wherever he went. Ramil spent more and more time in church, praying more often, lighting the house of God. When he did this, the presence of the hellish creature became less powerful. He tried to somehow free himself from the demon, trying to figure out why it followed him without engaging in conversation with the devil—but it rarely worked. The demon was hostile and at the same time as persistent as a fly. It seemed to live within him like an inner voice. But the servant of God never did what the demon asked.
Early morning. Ramil stood before the altar, reciting the prayers before the morning service. And mixed in with them, he heard the voice of the otherworldly devil. "Stop hiding, come out, you hellish spawn!"
