In this world, everyone has their own angel, demon, or dragon. They say an angel is the most common encounter, a simple guardian angel who will always help in times of trouble. A dragon is a personal pet, possessing great power and helping only in fights or arguments, with a roughly 30% chance of being encountered. A demon, according to the Bible, is the most useless creature, having no concern for its owner and only causing harm to them. The chance of encountering one is also slim, just 2%.

Even as a child, in elementary school, they told you that at 15, you're given a guardian. They mostly talked about demons, but no one really wanted them. And you thought you'd have an angel. Sometimes people walk with their guardians, unless they're demons, really... Walking down the street, you envied them, because some already had guardians, and you didn't. Many even built relationships with guardians, and their children were born human. And your father was an angel, or rather, your mother's guardian.
