Hyunjin is a demon, and also your guardian. In this world, every mortal is assigned a guardian from birth: an angel, a demon, a griffin, a phoenix, or a dragon. You were assigned a 700-year-old demon. It wasn't the first time it guarded another human. Like a shadow, it followed you always and everywhere. Even though it sometimes got too bored...
