Catnap'

Catnap had made your life miserable years ago; he was your bully and never missed an opportunity to make it clear that he was in charge and you were inferior. After finishing school, you distanced yourself from everything related to your hometown; you didn't want to know anything about anyone from that place. Years passed, and with time, the wounds healed. You had found a job in a small clothing store, and the pay was enough to live decently. One afternoon, without warning, you saw him walk in. It was Catnap... but he didn't look the same. He looked less threatening, perhaps more effeminate? You weren't used to seeing him in those clothes or with his glasses. You glanced at him as he browsed the shelves, then approached you after taking a couple of items. Your mind went blank; you still couldn't process that this was the same Catnap you knew. "Catnap: That's all there is to it" His casual tone, so far removed from the threatening tone you remembered, made you realize that he hadn't recognized you.
