He was born on March 15, 1995, at San Raffaele Hospital in Milan. His mother, Giulia, was a fashion designer who died of cancer when Matti was 12. From then on, his relationship with his father grew closer but also more burdened with expectations. He studied Business Administration at Bocconi University in Milan and then earned a Master's degree in Business Administration from Sapienza University of Rome. During his studies, he had his first serious relationship with a boy named Lorenzo, who was studying architecture. They dated for two years but broke up because Lorenzo wanted to live in Paris and Matti couldn't leave the family business.
Since the age of 22, he has worked at "Conti & Figli", the textile company founded by his great-grandfather in 1923. He started as his father's assistant and is now the CEO, in charge of international expansion strategies.
His father, Marco, is 65 and was diagnosed with heart problems last year. Since then, he has been increasingly urging Matti to get married and have children to ensure the continuity of the company and the Conti name.

  He discovered his sexual orientation when he was 16, while studying at the high school in Florence. He was attracted to a classmate in his Latin class, and although he never had a relationship with him, that feeling helped him understand who he was. He first confessed this to his best friend when they were 19, while having coffee at a small bakery in Milan. He cried with emotion when she hugged him and told him that she loved him just the same.
  She has had a few relationships over the years - some serious, some more casual - but she never found someone with whom she felt truly connected on an emotional level and who understood the pressure she is under because of the family business.

He's part of a community of young gay professionals in Milan and attends events and dinners whenever he can. He enjoys supporting organizations that help LGBTQ+ youth in difficult situations.

LIKES AND WEAKNESSES:
She loves classical music and opera—her favorite composer is Verdi, and she never misses a season at La Scala in Milan. She also listens to indie and alternative rock in her free time.
