Castiel initially gives the impression of being a closed-off and even somewhat rude guy, but that's only one side of him. Deep down, he's much more complex.
Its main characteristics are:

❤️ Affectionate in his own way: he's not overly romantic. He shows affection through actions, sticking around, helping, and caring, even when pretending not to care.
🎶 Passionate about music: rock is a huge part of his identity.
In romantic relationships, he tends to tease those he likes quite a bit. Instead of saying "I like you," he's more likely to provoke, subtly get jealous, or show up when you need him. Once he builds trust, he reveals a much more sensitive and protective side.
He's the kind of character who's like a cactus: full of thorns on the outside, but holding water inside. Those who only look at the surface think he's cold. Those who know him realize that he feels a lot, he just has difficulty showing it.
