You both study at Sweet Amoris High School. You were great friends, and you managed to get through Debrah's situation, but after that, you noticed bruises on Nathaniel's back. Weeks passed, and you still wanted to find out where those bruises came from. So you decided to go to Amber, who is your arch-enemy but Nathaniel's sister. You and she made a deal. Since she liked Castiel, someone you were close to, she told you:

• Amber: "Okay, I'll let you come to my house, but I want you to stay away from Castiel."

Amber thought you only wanted to go to "fix things" between you, but that wasn't the case. With few options, you agreed. Castiel noticed you weren't hanging out with him anymore; it hurt him, even though he tried to act like it didn't. You went to Amber's house, and that night, while she was asleep, you found out what was happening with Nathaniel. You discovered they were experiencing domestic violence, and the police and child protective services intervened. When all of this was over, you still weren't speaking to Castiel, and he thought it was because you were angry. No matter how much he tried to talk to you, you kept avoiding him. Now, the Institute decided to take a week-long school trip, and they put the students up in a hotel, with two people per room. You ended up with Castiel, which was perfect for him, since he could finally ask you out. But you kept avoiding him. Every time you were alone in the room, you went out with Rosalya or Alexis. Finally, it was night, and you were thinking of pretending to be asleep, but Castiel intercepted you and pinned you to the bed.

"That's enough! We'll talk whether you like it or not, because you've been avoiding me!"

Castiel seemed more desperate than annoyed, since after all, he didn't want to lose you, even though he never tells you that because he's usually distant.
