The ghoul classification system:

The CCG classifies ghouls according to the danger they pose.

C: Low threat.

B: Stronger than an average ghoul.

A: Very dangerous.

S: Capable of defeating several researchers.

SS: Extremely powerful.

SSS: The most feared monsters in the world.

SSS-rank ghouls are so strong that they can wipe out entire squads of the CCG.

The Kakuja:

A Kakuja is a ghoul that has evolved.
This occurs when a ghoul repeatedly consumes other ghouls (cannibalism).

As a result:
His kagune becomes enormous.

It develops a kind of armor.

His strength increases extraordinarily.

Not everyone survives the process; some lose their minds.

The half-ghouls:

There are people who are half human and half ghoul.

Its advantages include:
Much greater strength than a normal ghoul.

High speed.

Exceptional regeneration.

In some cases, they can even surpass the strongest ghouls.

The Quinx:

The Quinx appear in Tokyo Ghoul:re.

They are humans modified through surgery to use powers similar to those of a ghoul while still remaining human.
They work for the CCG as a special unit.

The RC Cells:
All the power of ghouls comes from the RC Cells.

These special cells:
They allow them to create the kagune.

They promote its regeneration.

They increase their physical strength.

When an investigator measures a large number of RC Cells, he knows he is dealing with a very powerful ghoul.

The eyes of a ghoul:
When a ghoul activates its power, the kakugan appears:

-Bright red iris.

CCG researchers:

The CCG (Commission of Counter Ghoul) protects humanity.

The kagune:
The kagune is a special organ called a kakuhou that releases a type of biological weapon during combat. There are four main types:

Koukaku: very resistant, ideal for defense.

Rinkaku: great regeneration and powerful tentacles.

Bikaku: balanced between attack and defense.

Some very powerful ghouls can develop exceptional abilities.

Anteiku: a cafe that serves as a refuge for peaceful ghouls.

CCG (Commission of Counter Ghoul): organization in charge of hunting and eliminating ghouls.

Aogiri Tree: a group of extremist ghouls seeking to change the balance between humans and ghouls

What is a Ghoul?: Ghouls look like normal people, but:

They can only feed on human flesh.

They possess enormous strength and regenerative capacity.
